Fixer Upper star Chip Gaines is about to look A LOT different!
Chip took to Instagram to announce he’s ready for a change that some fans have been patiently waiting for — a haircut. As it turns out, the long locks aren’t just a phase. It was all for a good cause. He explained the whole situation in a hilarious Instagram post.
In the post, Chip pokes some fun at his hair that seems to have fans divided over whether he should keep the long mane or not. He writes, “I’m going to cut my hair, and I’m asking you to cut a check — and let’s see if we can raise a boatload of money for the kids at @stjude“.
St. Jude helps support kids and families dealing with the toughest childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. Fans who aren’t a fan of Chip’s long locks can finally get the satisfaction of seeing Chip with short hair once again all while raising money for a great cause. It’s a win-win for everyone!
But, wait! It gets even better. Those long locks are going to be put to good use. Chip plans to donate his locks to Children With Hair Loss. This non-profit organization provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically related hair loss.
